SESAME
Sesame production has been steadily decreasing compared to previous years. Although current yields are aligned with the sowing levels, weak arrivals in the market have caused prices to rise by ₹7-8 per kg over the past week. If demand remains strong, prices could increase by an additional ₹10 per kg in the near future. However, further price hikes beyond this could negatively impact the market, as cheaper imported sesame may start arriving.
